We pride ourselves on running a reputable business that exceeds the highest standards in both safety and professionalism. We are currently seeking Project Engineer to join our team.
Job desription:
- Project lead for design basis, coordination, capital budgets and schedules;
- Project Support/Lead for mid to large size capital projects;
- Compose Design Base Memorandums and Scope of Work;
- Coordinate with all disciplines in development of Engineering Man-Hour Estimates
- Initiate Line List, Equipment List and Vendor Lists;
- Lead technical evaluations and vendor documentation review;
- Coordinate the development of process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams;
- Participate in field engineering assignments;
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure a timely and accurate flow of design information while ensuring departmental and client standards are maintained;
- Review calculations, specification of equipment, and check detailed engineering drawings;
- Prepare and review equipment and service contract bids and proposals;
- Perform review and evaluation of equipment vendor design data, calculations, drawings and communicate with supplier and client personnel;
- Construction and commissioning support;
- Basic interaction with client, i.e., meetings, minutes and professional e-mails.
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree or Technologist Diploma 2-10 years of experience;
- Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng., or working towards P.L. Eng., in the Province of Alberta and/or Saskatchewan.

- Excellent written and spoken communication plus presentation skills will be required;
- Experience Working in Project Based Teams;
- Process Engineering Experience;
- Capable of working under tight deadlines while achieving objectives;
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to perform design and project engineering;
- Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Experience with MS Project Scheduler:
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently when required; Strong experiences in interdisciplinary coordination;
- Ability to travel to vendor/construction sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
