Overview
Rinca Inc is a resource services company that does work throughout Canada. The company specializes in design consulting and construction/finishing/remodelling/renovation of residential and comercial projects. We pride ourselves on running a reputable business that exceeds the highest standards in both safety and professionalism. We are currently seeking Construction Foremen to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensures all projects are safe and in accordance with plans, specifications, and client direction.
- Work under the direction of the designated manager to direct and assist with the execution of the work as per specification and client direction
- Interact daily with clients and managers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct daily safety meetings and complete daily activity reports
- Coordinate with other Foremen or subcontractors as required
- Promote training of all workers
- Assign tasks, assist with and oversee all aspects of the construction project
- Supervise and train workers to help ensure a safe and productive job site
- Identify any mitigate any potential hazard on-site and implement the necessary precautionary measures to prevent incidents
- Do tasks such as mixing mortar, masonry, coloring, wall painting, lime,… according to the arrangements of the construction team leader. People who work in the technical team, construction contractors and practice and improve their own skills
- Build, assemble, and complete each part of the house, house, and road , bridges, culverts,… according to the arrangement of the construction contractor based on what has been designed.
- Installing door systems, building walkways, stairs, corridors , gradually run the lines for walls, column caps, etc.
- Make additional closed auxiliary works such as bathrooms, toilets, sinks, faucets,… wall paint, lime, wall paint, flooring, wall tiles,…
- Install electricity, plumbing,HVAC and add other equipment if requirement.
- Coordinate to handle issues related to the project: Discuss and answer questions from the team leader and contractor about issues in the construction phase, quality of the project according to plan, and assigned powers
Qualifications:
- Clean drivers abstract and valid class 5
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
- Ability to read and follow plans and blueprints
- Minimum 2 years civil / landscaping / retaining experience
- Ability to work long hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to travel and work out of town
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs
- Equipment operating experience in skid steer, zoom boom, excavator and/or small dozer
- Must have or be willing to obtain CSTS, First aid, H2s, fall protection
